When one of our own Rockwayans does something spectacular, we want to highlight it and tell them, "That's fantastic!" Okay, maybe not quite so strangely, but we do want to draw your attention to the accomplishments of one of our own- Stephanie Colucci. Stephanie and her husband Greg are servants in every sense of the word. Whenever and wherever help is needed at Rockway, you will find Greg and Stephanie giving of themselves, for sure. This week we want to highlight some of Stephanie's work outside of Rockway Church. She is a contributer to an online magazine called "The Christian Vibe." Her work was selected to be on the front page on Tuesday. Check it out in the links list to the right. Click on "Rockway is Proud..."
Great job Stephanie! We are proud of you!

You are Family- Part 2
To our Rockway Family.
We love you. You have been the hands and feet of Christ over the past 7 days. Miscarriages are so common, but the pain is still so real. What has overwhelmed us has not been the death of our child, but the compassion of Jesus we have seen in you. In such a dark time, your love and compassion have been simply . . . greater. Many of you have shared hope through your own experiences. Thank you for the emails, text messages, phone calls, hugs, tears, visits, and meals. They may seem small to you. They are big to us. And perhaps they really are small- it just goes to prove that the smallest amount of light is infinitely more powerful than the darkest part of night.
The ground beneath us for the past week has been holy. God has been with us. In the doctor's office, as we held hands and heard silence, it was holy. In the midst of all of our pain and anguish, we can sense that something else is going on here.
The body of Christ is busy being exactly what it was created to be- caring for those who are in need. You have ministered to us. You have ministered to Christ.
Matthew 25- "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
You are family. You are friends. We love you.
For the glory of God,
Kyle and Jessica

You are Family- Part 1

To Church Family and Zeppa Home Group:
Words cannot express the Love that has been shown by our church family during this trying time. The prayers, food, and Love have been so overwhelming that our children and extended family are coming back to God. The entire church exhibits and embodies the spirit of the verse Matthew 5:16, which states:
"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven."
I venture to guess that my own father who has been a deacon at University Baptist Arlington for over 40 years has not seen such love exemplified.
Thank you, Rockway Family for letting your light shine!
